How do attendees pay?
M-Pesa STK push is the default — buyers enter their phone number and approve the prompt on their handset. Cards (Visa/Mastercard) are supported too, so diaspora buyers are covered.
When do organisers get paid out?
Ticket revenue settles to your M-Pesa paybill or bank account on a rolling basis, with a final payout within three working days after the event. You can watch every settlement in the dashboard.
Can I run a free event?
Yes — RSVP-only events are completely free to create and run, with the same QR check-in, attendee messaging and analytics as paid events.
Do I need a special device to scan tickets?
No. The check-in scanner runs in the browser on any phone — point the camera at the QR code and it validates against your attendee list in real time, online or on patchy gate Wi-Fi.
Can I fundraise instead of selling tickets?
Yes. Fundraiser events take 'contribute any amount' M-Pesa payments, show a live progress bar, and let people give remotely even if they can't attend — built for harambees, chamas and church drives.
